CULTURAL STRATEGIST*
GIVE ME THE HEADLINES
-
WHO IS SHE?
Robyn is an introspective ideas person. She has an academic background in politics and social anthropology, and ended up in the creative industries because she thinks creativity can break cycles of marginalisation. She loves Black music (which is most music), writing and home. She dislikes slugs, cooking on a weeknight and the cold.
-
*WHAT DOES SHE ACTUALLY DO?
Robyn takes cultural insights and develops creative strategies to reach different audience groups. This could be a public engagement strategy if you’re a museum; a community partnership if you’re a brand; or maybe you’re a new NPO and need an audience development plan.
-
AND HOW DOES THAT WORK IN PRACTICE?
It always starts with audience, insights, and a strategy that fits your values, resources and timeline. Robyn works across marketing, comms, social, PR, research (Msc from SOAS), and campaign planning. If she can’t do it she’ll tap her network.
